Gaming PC's in Stockport

Creating a gaming PC from the ground up can be a time consuming and frustrating task. Microton aims to provide you with exactly what you want using industry knowledge to guide you in the right direction. Whatever your needs are we're happy to help and we even cover recalls for any PC we sell.

Creating your ideal PC

1. Use case

In order to get the specification right, you must know what you want to get out of the PC. Will it be used for intensive 4k gaming or are you going to be playing retro games which aren't as demanding?

2. Budget

If you have a maximum price in mind, you want to make sure your are getting the best product you can possibly get for that price. This is where it's important to optimise components for your budget, there's no point buying a £500 motherboard if the other components will perform exactly the same on a £200 motherboard.

3. Choosing parts

Due to the vast amount of components available on the market, it can be hard to determine what is right for your needs.

You might see that a particular storage component has the best performance but if you don't have the other parts which enable that performance, you have wasted your money.

Speaking to experts like us allows you to choose the correct components and know that they will work to their full potential with no bottlenecks.

4. The build

Building a PC sounds easy until you start opening boxes. Imagine you open a liquid cooler expecting to see a few cables and the cooler, instead you are met with adapters, screws, brackets, many cables and confusing instructions.

Microton are always expecting the unexpected, we have already been there, made the mistakes and learnt.

If you want peace of mind and a 36 month warranty, you can ask us to build your PC for you.

If you have the parts already that's fine, we will build the PC but unfortunately can't offer warranty in these scenario's. We will still be happy to help if issues arise but we just can't warranty parts sourced externally.

5. Contacting us

Once you have an idea of what you want to get out of your new PC, give us a call and we'll be here to help.
